A day in a museum, is always a good day ; so inspiring !! With over 20 different exhibitions at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, there’s something for every taste ! Plus with the MetFriday, you really have it all !! Every Friday, there are activities in the evening ; performances, drawing classes, guided tours, lectures, gallery talks… They are included in your museum entrance ticket, and as you might not know, it is pay as you wish, even though they claim it is 25$ ! Check out their site for more info about the upcoming exhibitions and MetFridays !

Walking all day throughout the museum can be pretty harsh on the feet so I recommend no heels, comfy footwear ! I opted for my new everyday white sandals !! The golden buckle gives them the perfect amount of edginess, which is great to complement your daytime outfit ! As it is not warm enough to wear a full summer look, I really like the sweater/skirt combo (seen here as well) ! Keeps you warm on the inside and casual chic on the outside ! I particularly like this match of prints as they blend so well together ! Asymmetrical hems are IN this season, it really gives the final touch to a more basic piece. This skirt is the perfect example, as without the pointy hem on one side, it’s really just a plain tube skirt ! That little extra is all you need to bring the extraordinary out of the ordinary !!

I like to have my hands free while touring a museum so a cross-body bag is the solution ! I chose my fluffy bag with a gold chain to match the sandals and to add texture to my look.

Now, can we talk about the ear cuff for a second !!! Totally enamored with this statement jewel !! Shiny, bold and elegant. The perfect masterpiece to bring your day-time outfit to a night-out look !!

Cheers, let the weekend begin ! ♥
