Eye(let)s on faux suede

Connecting 49th and 48th Street, this tiny little plaza behind the McGraw-Hill building, is definitely one of NYC’s gems !!!! Even though it’s right in the heart of Midtown, the loud city noises are blocked by the waterfall tunnel ! It is a charming shortcut and a beautiful place to unwind ! The perfect escape between meetings !! Make sure to check it out during business hours though, as it closes early on week nights and it’s not open on weekends !

The 70’s vibe is coming through with a big hit ! This faux suede skirt totally takes you back to that gypsy life where all that matters were peace and love !! The button detail in the front adds a little extra and the pockets, well like I mentioned here, I simply love them !! The shape is structured but the fabric makes it light and soft !! And the colour !!! A beautiful earth tone, vibrant dark beige ! Perfect for that 70’s vibe ! I chose a lacy crop top but an off-shoulder or a peasant blouse would have really complemented the boho look ! But since I like to play with different eras and mix styles, I opted for a more chic top to break the look. And by throwing high heels in the combo, you really get a nice contrast. This look is really about mixing decades and that cute little vintage handbag is really adding the final touch ! The brocade fabric gives a sense of opulence and adds the perfect amount of classiness !

Hope you all have fabulous plans for the weekend ! ♥
