The loved skirt

People often think that Manhattan has only one park ; Central Park. But the truth is, the city has way more parks than you can imagine !!! Some are very small (and hidden !!) but hey, it’s still a park !!! I mean, they all look small compared to Central Park !! Carl Schurz Park is an Upper East’s gem and has easy access through the Bobby Wagner Walk. It’s not too big but it’s not that small ! A very charming place for a picnic with a waterfront view !

I bought this skirt last year but could never figure out what top to wear it with. Since the skirt is very fitting, I wanted a looser fit for the top for balance. It couldn’t be too long, at least in the front, so the printed letters on the skirt would remain visible. Therefore, this white top, open in the front, long in the back was perfect ! It creates a nice flowy figure, adds some edge to the look while still looking effortless and sexy ! Plus the monochrome tones make the outfit look elegant but easy to put together ! When in a rush and no idea of what to wear, think monochrome !! It’s hard to go wrong with black and white or all black or all white ! Monochrome doesn’t mean only black and or white but I think they are the easiest colours to pull off !! But if you feel a little more adventurous, an all blue or grey or nude would look lovely.

Wish you all a fabulous weekend !! ♥
