A masculine touch

New York City has over 80 museums (within the five boroughs) and some are the largest in the world. The American Museum of Natural History is one of them ! Housing 45 permanent exhibitions, a planetarium and a library, you can easily lose track of time ! It’s a fascinating museum where you’ll find the evolution of life and beyond, plus everything you need to know about outer space. You are guaranteed to be mesmerized !

It is still very hot here in NYC, but as summer will fade away, the nights will get chilly and it will be time to pull out our jackets ! In the meantime, this look is the perfect transition ! Showing off your shoulders keeps the look fresh, summery and sexy, while the long sleeves and jeans keep you warm ! This poplin off-shoulder top is everything you want ! The knotted sleeves add character and the structured oversize shape gives a masculine touch while the crisp white and shoulder cleavage softens and make it chic and feminine ! To play with the masculine/feminine contrast, I paired the top with boyfriend jeans and an adorable feather purse. The blushing pink makes the bag so girlie, I love it ! I might be repeating myself here, but I really enjoy mixing and contrasting styles ! It makes the outfit more alive, less boring, more unique; more you !

My birthday weekend has finally arrived !! Entering the late twenties with no shame ! Follow me on Instagram (@julia.fashionista) to see what i’ll be wearing and where I’ll be celebrating !

Cheers !! ♥
