And I am back in NYC !! Even though there is no better feeling than being home, I would have stayed a little longer !! The weekend went by so fast, I didn’t even have time to do everything I wanted ! I had everything planned so well but I wasn’t ready for any surprises !! But overall, it was a fantastic weekend and I had lots of fun ! Montreal is a beautiful city and has a lot to offer. My favorite part of the city is definitely the Old Port. Old houses turned into galleries, hotels and restaurants; the cobblestone streets can only charm you !

Montreal is adorable but doesn’t have that many landmarks and those landmarks are nothing like the ones in NYC !! But it’s still worth checking out if you’ve never been (during summer only mind you !!!) !! I’m definitely not the best tourist guide, but through the next posts, I will try to give you a list of my favorite places in the old port, to see and eat !!

So let’s get started ! First things first, if you have a sweet tooth (or even if you don’t, you still need to try it) you ABSOLUTELY need to get a red velvet cupcake from Les Glaceurs. It’s literally the best cupcake. Ever. Period. As most streets are cobblestone, any street you walk on will turn into a nice walk. A part of St-Paul Street is pedestrian which makes it even nicer and has tons of restaurants (including a delicious sandwich and more place called Olive & Gourmando) and shops. If you are a maple lover, there is an amazing shop where they sell all sorts of maple products ! On that same street, you can find the Bonsecours Market where they hold exhibitions ! By the St-Laurent river, there is an artificial beach which is pretty nice for sipping cocktails, both feet in the sand on a hot summer day !!

I would not, of course, recommend anyone to wear heels on cobblestone streets ! That was just for show !!!! As I am extremely clumsy, I had to be very careful and focused but I think I pulled it off ! What do you guys think !?? Heels with a pencil skirt is an ultimate classic and you can’t go wrong with it !! It’s elegant, ultra feminine and chic ! I chose a black peplum skirt as well as black stilettos to keep it even more classy ! When in doubt, go for black !!! To break from the classiness, I paired the heels and skirt combo with a crop top and a bag tied at my waist ! It makes the look fun and adds an edge to all that chicness ! As the bare shoulder season is almost over, better to always have a light jacket with you to keep you warm on those chilly nights !! I know, mine is the same as my last post but, don’t say I didn’t warn you it would be on high rotation !!

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend where ever you were !!! ♥
