Judging a book by its cover

When people ask me what I do for a living, it’s not that I don’t know what to answer, but what difference does it make. Does it matter ?! Does my job make me a better person ?! I think of it as judging a book by its cover .. What I do for a living does not necessarily reflect who I am.

More often than not, people don’t end up working in their study field or at their dream job. Therefore, your job does not necessarily tell who you are, your likes and dislikes ..

Would you like me the same if I told you I am a maid ?! At first, I am sure a lot of you would simply ignore me .. But if you would get to know me, you would see that my job does not define me. If you like me, you like me for who I am, not for what I do for a living.

We’ve all done it, including myself, judge a book by its cover. It’s how we perceive each other. The way you dress, your job, your marital status and a lot more is only a small percentage of what you can truly offer to others. It’s what is deep inside that is worth knowing. Not all the superficial questions everybody asks when they’ve just met someone. The real beauty is found within. XOXO ♥
